Today for lunch we will be serving an Uncrustable, Juice, Apple Slices, a Rice Krispy Bar and Milk.
Congratulations to our TSA team that competed in the TSA State meet this week. Everyone did well…The team of Christian Luper, Lucas Stanley and Jacob Kline won second place in “Vex Robotics” and June Newcomb won second place for her speech presentation among other placements. Great Job TSA Team!
The Hunger Games Trilogy was voted the winner in March book Madness at Boone Middle School. The top 3 brackets for each grade have prizes waiting to be claimed in the library. Reading teachers have been given the list of winners and they are also posted in the library along with the bracket. So if you participated in March Book Madness check out the list in the Library.

The Boone Basketball Club is excited to be able to offer plenty of opportunities this offseason starting right away here in April and going throughout the summer for kids to get in the gym. A registration form for the GIRLS offseason program (grades 4th-12th)is available in the office or linked to this announcement. There are a variety of different opportunities including a Sharpshooters Club, Offseason Development sessions, 3-on-3, and Camp. Girls can register for all events or a portion depending on what works. Look for additional information regarding the BOYS offseason program to follow soon. Parents - I know this notice has been up for quite a while but now we are in February and the deadline will come up on us pretty quickly. If you or your student want a 2022/23 yearbook but haven’t ordered it yet, please do that in the next couple of weeks - Thanks! The Middle School Yearbook ordering site has opened. Yearbooks are $20 and the last day to order is March 15, 2023. Students will receive their yearbooks on or near the last day of school. The American Heart Challenge has kicked off for all 5th and 6th grade students and runs through March 9th.
All donations are due by March 9th
It's time for March Book Madness in the Boone Middle School library! If you would like to participate, there are brackets in the library for you to fill out and turn in. Voting for your favorite books will start the week of February 27. Various prizes, including coupons for free tacos at Taco Johns, will be given to the most correct brackets at each grade level once the book champion has been decided.
7th Grade Boys BB team will Host Perry Tonight at 4:15, the cost is $4.00 to get in. Bring your parent and Cheer on your fellow Toreadors!!
8th Grade Boys BB will practice 3:30-5:00 in the Franklin Gym tonight.
Tonight is the Jazz For All Ages Concert, featuring the Middle School Jazz Band. The concert starts at 6pm in the high school commons. Jazz students need to arrive by 5:40 to the stage in the commons to warm up. Jazz students also need to remember to take their instruments home with them tonight after school! We hope you can join us!
Just a reminder that there will be NO SCHOOL on Monday February 20th.
We still have one more snow make-up day and it will be on Tuesday April, 11th. We will have
school on that day.
