BCSD was announced as a grant winner for the Iowa Governor's STEM Council STEM BEST HD Model. We will be working with local partners in advanced manufacturing to create and expand courses and projects for Boone Middle and High School students to learn about related careers

To our Middle School Families -
With the cold winter weather on us, we hate to see our students standing outside longer than needed, so we would just like to remind you about our morning drop off times and procedures.
Most importantly, no cars should be in the bus circle at any time in the morning before 8:05 nor in the afternoon from 2:50 until the last buses leave at 4:00. If you need to pick your student up from the north entrance during those times, please pull into the parking area adjacent to the bus circle.
Due to supervision and safety, student doors do not open until 7:45 am. Student drop off and entrance is on the south side of the building, off Aldrich Street, up until 8:10. If you drop off your student on the north side of the school before 8:10, they will have to walk around the outside of the building to the south student entrance to get in. After 8:10 and through the rest of the day you will then need to use the north entrance to drop off and pick up your student until 2:50 (12:50 on early out days) when the buses start to line up.
