TODAY is a regular dismissal day. Student dismissals start at 3:04. The 35th annual Beverlin Track Meet will be Friday May 26 for 5th and 6th graders. The 6th grade meet will be in the morning from 10- Noon and the 5th grade meet will be in the afternoon from 12:30-2:30 (times are approximate). Parents are welcome to attend and admission is free! Parents-Guardians - First of all, Thank you to all of you that have already registered your student for next year, you don’t need to do anything more. Early Registration is required for all existing Boone students - If you have not yet registered your student on line for next year, please do it ASAP - we still have many students not registered for next year. The concern is that there will not be a class schedule created or a seat on a bus (if needed) for your student if they are not registered. It’s easy to do - Log into your Infinite Campus account and select “More” then “Online Registration” then “2023-2024 Existing Student Registration” and fill in the required information. Unfortunately this cannot be done on your phone - If you do not have a computer available, Tanya Boustead in our Central Office has computers available for you to register your student and she will also assist you if needed. Please feel free to call the office with any questions 515 433-0020. Day of the Year 164 - B Day Today for lunch they will be serving a Beef Hotdog, Chips, Green Beans, Fruit and Milk. The talent show auditions will continue next Monday and Tuesday for the 7th & 8th graders that signed up. The auditions will be held in the bandroom and the schedule is posted on the bandroom door. Happy Practicing! Come out and get your first look at the Boone Baseball teams TONIGHT @ Memorial Park. The "Futures Game" featuring the 8th and 9th graders will start at 5 PM and the "All-Star" Game featuring the JV/V will start at 7 PM. Free admission and concessions will be available. Current 6th and 7th grade athletes - Mr. Johnson is still taking middle school performance camp registrations. Camp is Monday, Wednesday, Friday from June 5th until July 21st at the high school. Signup is limited to the first 70 individuals and there are still some spots available. Forms can be found in the office or see Mr. Johnson in room 111. The 7th & 8th grade band and orchestra students will be attending the Adventureland Festival tomorrow, Saturday, May 13th. The bus will leave BMS at 9:45 a.m. and will return around 7p.m. Band students should wear their red band shirts or any red shirt. Good luck, students! Students - Just a heads up that the last day to return your checked out Library books is next Wednesday May 17th. So get reading. Students, your yearbooks will be passed out on May 24th. If you haven’t ordered one and still would like to buy one there are a few left. Bring your $20 cash to the office to reserve one. First come first served.

Friday marks a special day for our food service staff as the district recognizes "School Lunch Hero Day. From the kitchen to the lunchroom, cafeteria staff is essential to making sure our students eat well to learn at their very best. We're so grateful for all that they do everyday!
