Sarah Schrupp, a 2017 alum, is currently a student at Des Moines University in the College of Osteopathic Medicine. Sarah started working in healthcare after completing the CNA courses offered by the Bonne High School and DMACC partnership. For five years, she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) while completing her bachelor's degree at the University of Minnesota Rochester and throughout high school.
"My favorite experience with BCSD was my time in the theater department and developing many skills that now serve me as a student doctor," shared Sarah. "Many of the teachers who impacted me have now retired, like Mrs. Bass and Mrs. Watkins. They both saw my desire to learn and helped push me towards experiences where I would be challenged and grow."
