For today’s lunch we will be serving a Baked Potato Bar, Bread, Broccoli, Mandarin Oranges and Milk.
7th and 8th grade girls basketball continues this week and pictures will be on Wednesday, October 25th at 3:30 in the middle school gym (girls will practice after pictures). Picture packets have been given to coaches and will be handed out at practice. There are also extras in the office if you need one.
7th and 8th grade Wrestling practice also continues this week from 3:30-5:30 here in the wrestling room.
The BMS Teen Outreach Program is holding a drive for The Boone Humane Society. Items needed at the Humane Society are trash bags, clorox wipes, leashes, collars, blankets and wet & dry food for cats & dogs. All donations can be brought to Ms. Christa’s room 143 or the front office until October 31st.
We collected 529 canned food items from our Fun Night this past Friday. If you would like to contribute, please bring your items to Mr. Danner this Wednesday and Friday morning from 7:50 to 8:10 A.M. in front of the main office. Thank you to those of you that contributed!

All items will be collected outside the main office (boxes will be located in the vicinity) - there will be an advisor sign up sheet to mark off the number of items being brought in so that we can keep track of which student and which homeroom brings in the most items, all of which will be donated to the Boone County Salvation Army on our November Club Day. Thank you for your continued support and willingness to help out the Boone Community!**
Last year's homeroom winner was Mr. Bruck - his homeroom brought in a total of 808 items.

MS Wrestling for 7th and 8th graders will have their organizational “Check -in” meeting TODAY 3:30-4:30l to talk about things and get the wrestling room ready. They will start practice next Monday, the 23rd from 3:30-5:30.

Boone Middle School will be hosting a Fun NIght for all students TONIGHT. The 5th and 6th Grade Fun Night will be from 3:30 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. 5th and 6th students should leave their backpacks in their lockers until Fun Night is over. Admission will be $2.00 with 2 canned food items or $3.00 with 1 canned food item. The 7th and 8th grade times will be approximately 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Students should not arrive until 5:50 P.M. as you will not be allowed in the building until 6:00 P.M. Students from Sacred Heart and Trinity have also been invited. There will be a concession stand, gaga ball in the wrestling room, volleyball and basketball for students and Mr. Doolittle's favorite, dodgeball at the end of your time.
