Stop and see us at the Nights on the Green!

Nights on the Green is tonight at the Central Iowa Expo! Make sure to stop by the Boone Community Schools table. We'll have some Toreador items to give away a long with information about changes to school attendance laws and district attendance policies. Families can also double check to make sure students are registered for the 2024-2025 school year. We'll be there from 5:00 - 6:30. Hope to see lots of our families there!
Franklin Families: A document with links to sign up for back to school conferences will be sent out on Monday at 8:00 a.m. Conferences will be held on Thursday and Friday, August 22nd & 23rd. Sign ups will be done using Google Calendar and it's important that your time zone is set to central time. If your calendar is set to a different time zone, it will not display correctly on your calendar after you sign up for a time. We'll post the conference sign up links on Facebook, the BCSD app and through text message/email. Please reach out to our Franklin office if you have questions or problems with sign up. Have a great weekend!
4th grade parents: The school supply list should say 2 spiral notebooks. Sorry about leaving the number off the supply list! See you soon!

Shout out to our 4th graders (and teachers) who spent some time on the last day of school cleaning up our building! They pulled weeds, spread new mulch, swept wood chips and rocks and replanted some of the plants. It looks great! ❤️💚

Franklin Parents:
Some of the activities we have planned for tomorrow's field day involve water and there' s a good chance students will get wet. Some will get a little wet and others will probably get soaked. Please consider sending an extra set of clothing for your child to change into after field day so they don't have to sit in wet clothes after their field day is over or on the bus ride home. Thank you!
