Franklin Parents: You may have heard about our upcoming Cafe' Winter event that's happening later this week at Franklin. We always love to have parents join us for lunch at Franklin. However, this is a special event for students that happens in the library and space is extremely limited. For this reason, we ask families NOT to attend lunch with students on the day they attend Cafe' Winter. 3rd grade will attend Cafe' Winter on Thursday of this week and 4th/2nd will attend Cafe' Winter on Friday. Any other day would be a great day to stop by and join us for lunch! We'll make sure to post lots of pictures of Cafe' Winter on our Facebook page. Thanks for your help with this!

Check out this week's issue of the Toreador Times: https://www.smore.com/52kd8 It was an absolutely fabulous 18th Festival of Hope! Thank you to all who came out and supported us again this year! We continue to be amazed by our community year after year. If you were unable to make it to the festival, but still want to contribute, you can send donations to any Foundation Board Member or to our P.O. Box 105, Boone, IA 50036! It’s always amazing to see the community come together for our festival. We truly couldn’t do it without everyone who comes out to support us year after year. We are incredibly thankful!

Parents of 4th Grade Choir Members: Please see the information below from Mrs. Cunningham regarding the performance this Saturday at the Hope Festival. Feel free to reach out to Mrs. Cunningham if you have any questions. We're looking forward to a great performance! From Mrs. Cunningham: Students should dress nicely, they can wear "festive" outfits (ugly Christmas sweaters etc) or whatever they are comfortable performing in We will meet at the High School commons at 9:45. Students should leave coats with their family and come stand on the risers that will be at the end of the room by the big TV screen and library windows We will be done performing by 10:30. I've asked students to bring a pair of clean socks for our sock song. I will have extras available if someone forgets. They can also bring them and leave them with me this week and I will bring them Saturday. Thanks for all your support for our 4th grade choir! They sound great and we are excited to perform.
