Parents of 4th Grade Choir Members:
Please see the information below from Mrs. Cunningham regarding the performance this Saturday at the Hope Festival. Feel free to reach out to Mrs. Cunningham if you have any questions. We're looking forward to a great performance!
From Mrs. Cunningham:
Students should dress nicely, they can wear "festive" outfits (ugly Christmas sweaters etc) or whatever they are comfortable performing in
We will meet at the High School commons at 9:45. Students should leave coats with their family and come stand on the risers that will be at the end of the room by the big TV screen and library windows
We will be done performing by 10:30.
I've asked students to bring a pair of clean socks for our sock song. I will have extras available if someone forgets. They can also bring them and leave them with me this week and I will bring them Saturday.
Thanks for all your support for our 4th grade choir! They sound great and we are excited to perform.
All of these glasses are in our lost and found at Franklin. If your student is missing a pair of glasses and you recognize any of these, please contact Brittany at the Franklin office so we can return them to the owner.

2nd grade families: The annual 2nd grade gingerbread house decorating will take place on December 9 at 2:00. Our second grade teachers are in need of donations for this fun event. Please check Seesaw and email for more information from the our second grade teachers about how to sign up for donations. Thanks a lot!
Big thanks to the Boone Daybreakers Kiwanis for their generous donation of snacks, Clorox wipes, and self-care items including toothbrushes and toothpaste! We appreciate their support and are so thankful for our community partners!

In an effort to increase my communication within the district and with our community at large, I have started a Vlog. Enjoy the first episode where I explain how I make weather decisions!

Yesterday, our 4th grade students had the opportunity to attend and Iowa State women’s basketball game to watch our student teacher, Ms. Joens play. They did such a great job and were great representatives of our school and the Boone community. We’re very proud of them! Here are a few pictures!

Big thanks to all of the parents who volunteered time and donated prizes for our Harvest Hoedown today! It was a big success and our students had so much fun celebrating their hard work during the first quarter of the school year. Also, big thanks to the elementary PTO for providing the s’mores supplies. They were a big hit! We appreciate all of you!

HUGE thank you to Tamara Law, one of our amazing Franklin parents! She provided a delicious soup lunch for our entire staff today. It was so good and made our Franklin staff feel so appreciated. We have the best families! And not just because of the soup lunch! :) Thank you Tamara!
