Last week, these Franklin teachers had the opportunity to spend 4 days learning together at the Culture Keepers Institute in Bentonville, Arkansas. It was a great opportunity to learn about how we can continue to help our students learn at high levels. Can’t wait to get started back with our students in the fall and put our learning into practice! 💚❤️

That’s a wrap on the 22-23 school year! Thanks to all of our Franklin families for your support and for sharing your amazing children with us. We’re so proud of them and are already looking forward to next year. Have a wonderful, safe summer! 😎❤️💚

Mr. Hilmer made a deal with our students that if they raised $5,000 or more for the Kids Heart Challenge, the student in each grade level who raised the most money would get to hit him with a pie in the face. They made their goal and Mr. Hilmer is a man of his word so it happened earlier this week!
Unfortunately, we didn’t get any pictures of our 4th grade student.

We’re sure going to miss these amazing kids next year! Good luck to all of our 4th graders! Go be amazing! ❤️💚

Block Party Cancelled:
Unfortunately, due to the weather, the block party that was rescheduled for tonight, has been cancelled. The weather this week has been so bad and caused us to cancel most of our outdoor year-end activities. 😢 We want to make sure our students and families are able to enjoy the activities at the block party and the weather doesn’t seem to be cooperating this spring. We’re working with the PTO to see about scheduling something in the fall as a back to school kickoff and will communicate that information if/when a decision is made. Thanks for your understanding. We’re hoping the weather improves for the first week of summer vacation!

Free Summer Lunch Program!

Due to the forecast for cold temperatures and rain, both swimming trips are cancelled. It’s unfortunate but we just can’t control the weather. Thanks for your understanding.

Swimming update: The weather doesn’t look like it’s going to cooperate for our swimming days this year. Wednesday is supposed to be cold and rainy and Thursday is predicted to be cool and cloudy. We’ll continue to watch the forecast before making a final decision but right now, it doesn’t look promising. We’ll make a final decision the day before each group goes and we’ll plan something fun at school if we aren’t able to go. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to reschedule our school swimming days.
