Thanks to all of our families for your support of our elementary PTO fundraiser! There's still plenty of time to collect donations for our "Steam Engine" fundraiser. The final day to collect donations and turn in pledge sheets is Monday, February 21st.

Elementary STEM night was a HUGE success! We’re estimating that we served close to 400 meals and it was a packed house! There were so many cool activities involving STEM, computer science and career exploration for our elementary students to learn about! Big thanks to Mrs. Byriel and Mrs. Schuler who did the majority of the planning and organization for STEM night. Big thanks to our elementary PTO for purchasing and serving the meal to our families! Big thanks to our community partners for showing up and engaging with our youngest students! Big thanks to our Boone elementary teachers for spending time having fun and learning with kids and our other staff members who helped with set up/clean up. Big thanks to Fareway Stores for their donation of cookies and water! Big thanks to our families for partnering with us in the education of your children! It was a great night to be a Toreador! ❤️💚

It’s National School Counseling Week and we want to thank our amazing counseling staff at Franklin! Big thanks to Mrs. Miller, our school counselor, Miss Justine and Miss Christa, our YSS family liaisons and Miss Dee, our counseling intern. They work so hard to build positive relationships with students and support their social/emotional learning! We’re lucky to have them at Franklin! ❤️💚

Franklin Families: Elementary STEM night is coming up next Thursday at Franklin! Our PTO is looking for parents to help with serving food to our families. If you're willing to donate some of your time and help serve food, please use the link below to sign up. 3rd Grade Parents: The Iowa Department of Public Health is offering a free dental screening to all of our 3rd grade students. They're scheduled to be at Franklin on February 28. An informational letter and permission form/release of information will go home with students tomorrow in Thursday folders. Only students who return the permission slip will be screened on the 28th. If you're interested in having your child screened, please complete the permission form/release of information and return it to Franklin. Please contact our school office if there are any questions!

Wednesday, February 2 is an early release day! Franklin students will be dismissed at 1:25!
