* Masks are no longer required at school. Students are welcome to wear them if they choose and some staff will continue to wear them as well.

Winter has arrived and it’s going to be a chilly week so make sure to help your student make responsible decisions with winter clothing. We’ll go outside for recess unless the wind chill is below zero.

Due to the predicted high winds, Franklin students will be dismissing at 1:25 on Wednesday, December 15.
Due to the predicted high winds for tomorrow, Boone Schools will be dismissing 2 hours early on Wednesday, December 15, 2021.
Mrs. Minnehan & Mrs. Smith’s students started off the week by designing bird feeders. They were asked to deism them keeping their bird’s preferences in mind and their knowledge of each of their birds, based on what they’ve learned about them. There were some creative ideas!

There have been lots of exciting activities and great learning for computer science week! We’ve had several guest speakers who came to explain how computer science has helped them in their careers. Our students have spent time learning about computer science and solving problems with computer science activities. We’re so grateful for the community support! Also, big thanks to Mrs. Byriel and Mrs. Schuler for organizing all of the activities and presenters!
