We had a great first week of school! It was so much fun seeing all of our students back and ready to learn! Remember that Wednesday is our first early release day of the year. Students will be dismissed at 1:25. We only have 1 early release for teacher professional development each month this year and they’re on the first Wednesday. Have a great weekend!
We had a great first day at Franklin yesterday! Thanks to all of our families for being patient with morning drop off, bussing and afternoon pick up. Things take a little longer as we get the routine down on the first few days and things will get faster as our students learn those routines. We really appreciate all of our families working with us to ensure the safety of our kids.
Quick reminder for 3rd & 4th grade families who pick students up. You can also meet students at the northeast corner of the building near Crawford and 20th Street, next to our playground. Just be aware of our buses coming down Crawford at that time. All of our 2nd grade students being picked up come to the lunchroom and are picked up in the loop but 3rd & 4th are able to do either.

Reminder: ALL students must register for the upcoming school year to confirm attendance for 21-22. This includes returning students who have previously attended Boone Schools. This is also where families sign up for transportation and students will not be assigned a bus route until registration is completed. Families can register through the parent portal on Infinite Campus.

To view homeroom teacher assignments:
1. Login to the Infinite Campus parent app (parent portal)
2. Click on the 3 lines in the upper left
3. Click on schedule
**It will only show AM attendance right now but the homeroom teacher’s name will be listed.
All students are now assigned to their homeroom teachers for the 21-22 school year in Infinite Campus. Please check the parent portal to view homeroom teacher assignments.
If you are starting to think about school supplies remember there is a school supply drive in August to help with your school supply needs. This year it is NOT a drive-through!! It will be on August 5th from 6-8pm.

HUGE thanks to all of our Franklin families for working with us to ensure a great school year for our students! We appreciate everyone working with us through the many challenges this year presented and we feel so lucky that we were able to be on-site with students for the entire school year! We’re already missing those smiling faces and we’re looking forward to seeing them in the fall! Best of luck to our 4th grade class as they move on to the middle school. They’re a great bunch of kids and will be missed but we know they’ll do great! Have a great, safe summer!

Online students are scheduled to return Chromebooks and other supplies on Monday, June 7 from 10-12 at Franklin. Any other students who need to return Chromebooks, supplies or library books can also do so at that time. Please contact the Franklin office if there are any questions.
