Boone Schools will be on a 2 hour delay tomorrow (Tuesday, January 21) due to cold temperatures and wind chills. School will start at 10:05 for Franklin students. Buses will run 2 hours later than normal and there will be no breakfast served at Franklin tomorrow.
Reminder: There is no school tomorrow, January 20, due to the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. Stay warm and we'll see all of our students back on Tuesday morning!

Franklin Families: Tomorrow is pajama day for the whole school. We switched it due to the theme for our Character Strong assembly.
Some classrooms may also be doing a pajama day on Friday, which would have been communicated by classroom teachers but we'll be doing a pajama day for the whole school tomorrow. So... feel free to send kids in their PJs on Thursday!

Cafe Winter for 3rd & 4th was a big success on Friday! Big thanks to all of our staff who helped with decorating, setting up, serving and cleaning up. Thanks to our high school volunteers who helped with service. Special THANK YOU to our amazing kitchen staff! Cafe Winter is quite a bit of extra work for them and they were amazing. 3rd grade has reservations this week and it should be fun!

Big thanks to all of our families who joined us for Fall conferences last week! We had 93.4% of our families attend conferences to discuss student progress. Partnering with families is an important part of student success and we're thankful for all of our families that took the time to come and meet with our teachers.
