REMINDER: In May, we will hold Preschool & Kindergarten Experience Days to allow students to get a glimpse into what their day will look like next school year. Students will have the opportunity to meet staff and their future classmates!
Both experience days will be held at Page Elementary.
Our TK/Kindergarten Experience Day is Friday, May 5, from 8:30 to 11:00am. This event will allow your TK or kindergarten student to practice being in TK or Kinder! Fun activities and learning will help children hold this memory all summer long when they think about school!
Our Preschool Experience Day will take place Wednesday, May 10. The day will be split into four 1-hour visits to allow children to get to know staff and each other more closely!
Students and families are invited to join us to learn more about our new Ledges Elementary School, our programming, and our staff. We look forward to meeting you!

Join us tomorrow for the Lincoln-Page Concerts in the High School Auditorium! The kindergarten concert is at 5:30pm, while the 1st grade concert will begin at 6:30pm. Enjoy some great music from our young musicians! 🎹🎶

Our new Ledges Elementary building will offer an important, daily block of time for TK-1st grade students called WIN (What I Need).
During WIN, students are grouped together by similar skill areas with teachers and staff to provide targeted instruction, based on the needs of their group. Enjoy some facts about WIN!
🍏 Fact 1: Our Little Toreadors receive daily WIN time to develop their literacy and math skills. At key points in the year, students even have WIN for social-emotional learning!
🍎 Fact 2: During literacy WIN times, all hands are on deck! Our specials teachers, associates, and all teachers play a role in meeting the needs of our students during this time.
🍏 Fact 3: WIN groups are fluid and flexible as students’ needs change. Our teachers assess students frequently and use this data to create new groups as students’ skills progress.

Get ready for a music-filled weekend with tunes from the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll!
The Boone High School Swing Choir will perform music by Elvis tonight and tomorrow night at 7:00pm in the BHS Auditorium.
You won’t want to miss it! 🎵

The Swing Choir and Jazz Band Show is tonight! 🎶 Come support our 7th and 8th graders at 7:00pm in the Boone Middle School Gym.
We hope to see you there!

April 5 was Paraprofessional Appreciation Day, but we are proud to recognize the hard work and dedication of our paraprofessionals each and every day!
Paraprofessionals make an important impact in our classrooms, and their supportive relationships with our teachers and students help ensure our schools run as smoothly as possible. Please join us in thanking them for all they do!

In honor of National Assistant Principals Week, we would like to recognize our wonderful assistant principals at Boone CSD: High School Assistant Principal Drake Bailey and Middle School Assistant Principal Emily Sperfslage.
We deeply appreciate the support you provide to our students, staff, and families!

On April 4, Boone Middle School’s 7th grade students went on a field trip to participate in the Teen Maze at the Boone County Fairgrounds! This interactive experience helped students understand and learn decision-making strategies for situations they may face in the future.
Topics included saying no to drugs and alcohol, dealing with peer pressure, recognizing the differences between positive and negative relationships, babysitting, and even interviewing for a job. We would like to thank Ryan Titman and Scott Kelley, along with many other members of Boone and Story counties, for continuing this awesome opportunity for kids!
