On December 3, Boone CSD proudly observes International Day of Persons with Disabilities Day – an important reminder of the need for inclusivity, understanding, and respect for all people in our community.

The Boone Hope Foundation is proud to host their annual Hope Festival on Saturday, December 2!
Every year, the teacher-led nonprofit raises funds to serve the students and families of Boone CSD, Sacred Heart, and Trinity Lutheran Schools. These funds provide one-time assistance in the face of urgent need or emergencies. Your kind donation will benefit individuals right here in our community.
This year’s Hope Festival will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Boone High School Commons. Let’s see if we can top last year’s donations!

Boone CSD stands united during Human Rights Month, committed to nurturing a space where every student's voice is heard, and every right is respected. Join us as we advocate for the rights of all, both in and out of the classroom. 🤝🌏

Did you know that 9th grade attendance is better at predicting drop-out rates than a student’s 8th grade test scores?
Students need to be in school every day – even if they’re doing well in all their classes. Consistent attendance is key for keeping students on track towards graduation. Please make sure your student is in school today!

November is National Career Development Month! During this time, we’d like to recognize our amazing teachers and staff for their efforts to continuously learn and grow.

Chronic absenteeism increases as students get older. More than 14 percent of middle school students are reported as chronically absent. That number climbs to over 20 percent once they get to high school.
Boone CSD calls on parents, guardians, and family members to encourage regular attendance. If school is in session, students should be in school.

Mentorship makes a huge difference in school attendance. Studies show that chronically absent students who participate in a mentorship program are more likely to get back on track and maintain a solid attendance record.
If your student is struggling, we encourage you to explore mentorship opportunities. Speak with a school counselor to learn more.
