🎉 Our last 10-year staff member to celebrate at Boone CSD for this year is Jake Doty! Jake is one of our 4th grade teachers at Franklin Elementary. He credits spending time with young students in the classroom for increasing his capacity as an educator and making him a better person.
"I'm incredibly fortunate to have been able to spend the last 10 years in the classroom with amazing kids. Kids are hilarious. They're witty. They're helpful and compassionate. They're intelligent and inspiring. They are excellent teachers and frequently offer humbling words and actions," shares Jake. "To current students and those of the past, thank you. Thank you for the laughs and the lessons."
